Car hire in Liverpool Airport

Liverpool International Airport or Liverpool John Lennon Airport is one of the UK's fastest growing regional airports, with passengers topping 1,500,000 in the past few years. The airport is currently undergoing a major programme of investment and improvement.

The airport has one terminal, with check-in, ticket sales and reservation desks located in the centre of the main concourse. There are also monitors situated across the airport with up-to-date flight information displayed.

The bureau de change facility is run by Thomas Cook and offers a wide range of foreign currencies over the counter.

A host of new retail and catering facilities are on hand in the terminal, with the new boardwalk shopping area selling a range of goods, from mobiles, sports clothing to fine chocolates. A lingerie and gifts shop are also located in the terminal, with confectionary and newspapers available at the newsagent's. Once through security there is a modern duty-free shopping area located along with an airside bar, restaurant, and WH Smiths.
