Calan Bosch lies on the south west coast of Menorca and is one of the islands more modern and newer resort destinations. The focal point of the resort is the large man made marina, usually full of small to medium sized yachts and other types of leisure craft.

During the evening Calan Bosch benefits when numerous traders set up their stalls and sell local made craft goods and offer skills such as hair braiding and henna tattoos. An enjoyable evening can be spent here just taking in the atmosphere.

With a population of just over 100 people in winter months the area is exceptionally quiet when compared to the thousands of tourists that make their way in summer. A lot of the houses are privately owned as holiday homes.
