Situated 20km due east of Ste-Anne is St-Francois (la Marina), an upper class harbour town. But what it lacks in beachfront, it makes up for with its mast-filled marina, where a boardwalk lined with exclusive boutiques, cafés and restaurants that draw attractive mainlanders for drinks. Often used as a convenient departure point for ferries to Guadeloupe's offshore islands, (some boats also take divers out to nearby waters).
