Car hire in Irun

Irun is a place that many backpackers who are travelling down the west coast of France will end up at. From Biarritz (France) you need to head to Irun in order to catch trains to major cities like Madrid (and connections to Barcelona).

It is not the best of places to have to kill time if you've got a long wait for a train. However it is deceptively large and you can walk for what seems like ages through endless shopping parades spattered with sandwich cafes and bars.

Some of the bars around the station are a little run down but walk a bit further into the town and you will find some reasonably smart places where you can get something to eat and drink.
