Car hire in Andover
Until the early 1970’s a typical Hampshire market town on the River Anton, Andover today is a large and vibrant town with a strong commercial base that has retained much of its small town charm. The London overspill programme of the late 60’s has seen the town grow from a population of 17,000 to over 40,000 in less than 30 years.
Glorious countryside and a number of unspoilt villages such as Wherwell and Longparish surround Andover. The towns Iron Age Museum is well worth a visit, whilst just out of town, the Hawk Conservancy, Whitchurch Silk Mill and Highclere Castle are all worth visiting.
